Mustafayev The development of information technology, including the Internet of Things, smart cities, digital business transformation and global digitalization of the economy, generates huge amounts of data. The constant increase in the load on data warehouses leads to the rapid development of the entire storage market. Organizations seeking to reduce costs through improved machine virtualization, less administration time and lower infrastructure costs using cloud computing. By providing data storage and management, cloud computing is becoming an integral part of corporate infrastructure. Governments, businesses and individuals are now actively moving their data to the cloud. This circumstance increases the potential risk, such as unauthorized access, data loss or disclosure of confi dential information. Research on data security and privacy protection in cloud infrastructure is relevant. In this paper, we consider the issues of ensuring information security in cloud computing systems. The types and service models of cloud computing systems are described. The urgency of the task of ensuring information security in cloud computing systems is substantiated, the differences of this task from the analysis of threats to information security in traditional information systems are listed. Threats in cloud computing systems are considered. It is shown that to ensure the protection of confidential information, it is necessary to use the concept of multilevel security.
