Kosyanenko The purpose of the work is to determine the main requirements for project management information systems and the possibility of automating this process with the help of IT solutions presented on the Russian market, considering the main standards in the field of project management and the specifi cs of the activities of small and medium-sized businesses. To achieve this goal, the article highlights the features of the activities of small and medium-sized enterprises, provides project management standards, and forms functional requirements for automation systems for this process. The review of project management information systems presented on the Russian market is made, and the conclusion is made about the compliance of the functionality of software products available to small and medium-sized businesses with the requirements of the relevant standards.
