Approaches to Modernization of Differential Evolution in Order to Increase its Rate of Convergence |

In the paper a diff erential evolution algorithm investigated and its target characteristics is given. A number of approaches to the modernization of differential evolution algorithm are proposed, which, according to the hypotheses put forward in the work, will increase the values of target characteristics. The proposed approaches are developed based on results of modern research in an evolutionary biology. They represent modeling of biological processes, which, according to some researchers, accelerate the evolutionary process in biological systems. This biological processes are associated with such evolutionary biology fi elds as DNA repair, the relationship between genotype and phenotype, the synergistic effect of negative mutations and the interaction in the «predator-prey» system, formalized with the Lotka-Volterra mathematical model. Also general considerations about making experiments for testing the hypotheses are given.
