Ivanova, I.D. Kotilevets, D.I. Dorofeev The modern world is characterized by huge amounts of information that must be stored, processed and analyzed. One of the most powerful storage resources is databases, in particular relational databases. With an increase in the volume of information processed, IT enterprises, the number of tasks to be solved and, consequently, the number of employees grows. Large teams have problems with managing changes in different environments (Development, Test, Stage or Pre-Production, Production), as well as transferring changes between them. The purpose of this work is to unify methods for managing changes in the structure of databases in different environments and to describe a single algorithm for transferring changes between them. A feature of the development is the ability to use the algorithm in companies with an increased level of data access security, which excludes the possibility of developers connecting to production environments. The article discusses the basic methods of working with the Oracle data dictionary, which underlie the development of logic for building an algorithm for automating the creation of scripts for changing the structure of databases.
