Titov, P.Yu. Pushkin, P.I. Karasev, M.M. Titova The article presents practical methods for solving problems of the quality of transmitted information in highly reliable special and dual-use systems. As such systems were considered: a digital communication system and a radar system (radar), solving problems for commercial and military purposes. Solving the problem of the quality of transmitted information is inevitably associated with optimization. On the basis of solving the problems of optimal construction of these systems, specific examples are given. The question of drawing up the equation of the relationship between the costs of the elements of the VND and their technical characteristics is also considered.
