Antyasova, N.E. Surkova The article analyzes the current state of digitalization in Russia and the prospects for the development of digital technologies in construction. The concepts of IT solutions in the field of «Construction 4.0» are considered, the main ones of which are: artificial intelligence, monitoring, systems modeling, digital production, data science. The relevance of the identified solutions in construction is also analyzed and examples of technology implementation in the construction sector in Russia and in the world are considered. The article touches upon another topic that is at the peak of popularity – BIM (building information model) – an information model of a structure. In Western countries, digitalization for the construction industry is developing precisely according to this technology. With the help of it, all functions at the construction site are automated, and it also allows you to design not only in 3D, but also in 5-7D. The information model considers time, money and labor resources. The conclusion is made about the digital transformation of the construction industry.
