Titov The article under discussion presents a general description of large systems (BS). The problem of assessing the stability of BS functioning is considered. The analysis of methods for ensuring the stability and reliability of BS functioning in conditions of negative external influences (NVV) is given. The criteria for assessing the stability of BS functioning are specified. The method of analyzing the stability of BS functioning in the conditions of NVV is described. The problem of increasing the stability of the functioning of large systems under external influences by using the capabilities of the information exchange system (SIO) is discussed. A mechanism for evaluating large systems is presented. A detailed analysis of methods for finding estimates in highly reliable systems has been carried out. The method of determining confidence limits and confidence probabilities in the problem of designing highly reliable systems is described in detail.
