Silaev This article discusses the problems of implementing wireless data transmission over long distances. The paper provides an overview of the technical characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of the main wireless data transmission protocols. Based on the data obtained, the LoRaWAN technology was selected according to the criteria of data transmission range and speed, as well as energy consumption. The main task is to write a software system for wireless transmission of data packets over long distances. The equipment chosen is the LoRa SX1276 module, which allows you to transmit small data packets over a distance of up to 10 km with low power consumption, and the Arduino Nano controller. A program was written to transmit data using the specifi ed equipment, as a result of which a number of experiments were conducted that showed the compliance of the chosen technology with the task.
