The Assessment of Influence of the Identifier Signal on the Noise Immunity of the Main Signal Reception in a Complex Signal-Interference Media When Introducing the CID Detection Mechanism in the Modem Equipment of Satellite Communication Stations |

The article presents the justification for the need to introduce the DVB-Carrier Identification (CID) station identification technology in satellite communication systems and describes this mechanism. The analysis of existing methods for identifying satellite earth stations and regulatory documents regulating the implementation of the proposed method is carried out. The impact of the introduced additional broadband identifier signal on the noise immunity of signal reception in the main channel was assessed while minimizing the power takeoff of the satellite earth station transmitter under the interference eff ect of the “interfering” station. On the basis of the presented materials, a structural and functional diagram of the path for generating a noise-like identifi er signal has been developed, which is used in modern satellite communication systems and complexes as part of modem equipment based on hardware and software platforms.
