Shlykov The need for the oil and gas industry development through process automation and incorporation of information and digital technologies stems from the great demand for modern digital software packages, which enable the design and 3D modeling of enterprise facilities for managing and controlling technological processes. The main task of the systems intended for management and control of petroleum products at the refineries is quality control, and quality significantly aff ects the cost of production (this relationship is associated with the phased nature of the production process). The outdated methods of automation are an urgent problem here, which can be addressed with digital technologies. Other topical interests in the oil and gas sector are linked to the processes of oil reception and processing, as well as the storage of petroleum products and their preparation for export. The present work aims to employ a modern automated process control system in the oil and gas industry, which makes use of the information and digital technologies to create automation devices and equipment to ensure the control and management of petroleum products. The scientific novelty of this study lies in the improvement and implementation of automated railway overpass control systems for carrying out technological processes with oil and oil products to ensure the remote control of process facilities. The findings present the 3D models of technological processes conducted with the help of the automated control and monitoring systems.
