Industrial Automatic Control Systems and Controllers Annotation << Back Next-generation modifications of ST language from IEC 61131-3 Zyubin V.E. The ways of ST language enhancement for ensuring its stand-alone usage in a wide range of industrial automation applications. The paper suggests to augment the language with “process” and “state function” concepts and to modernize the operations with temporary objects. Such modernization will provide ST with new opportunities to describe parallelism, event polymorphism, and synchronism.
