The existing legislative and practical metrology in Belorussia and other CIS countries is based on 2 laws: “On measurement traceability provision” and “On technical rating and standardization”. Together with thousands other metrological documents such as programs, procedures, guidelines, etc., they make a metrological maze perplexing both instrument users and metrologists.
