Industrial Automatic Control Systems and Controllers Annotation << Back Normative Base for Representation and Identification of Library Resources in Distributed Information Systems of the Internet I.V. Timoshenko The author shows the main tendency in representation and unique identification of information resources of library collections placed in the Internet. The author given main standards of international organizations, as well as national standards of the libraries and information activity, developed within the framework of the projects of the Technical committee for standardization GOST TC 191 “Scientific and technical information, librarianship and publishing”, which form the regulatory framework for bibliography of library information resources for placement in the Internet. The author discusses in the possibility of harmonization of existing electronic formats of bibliographic records with the main provisions of the Open Linked Data method based on DCMI (Dublin Core) metadata formats and URI (uniform resource identifier) system of unique identification. The author shows libraries bibliography in the context of the main provisions of the concept of the Semantic Web, as the main direction of the Internet development.
