Lyubko, D.Kh. Nguen The article describes the features of the construction of coherent optical signal receivers. The received optical signal is described by the presented analytical mathematical model taking into account the influence of dispersion distortions. A variant of the assessment and compensation of chromatic dispersion distortions due to the synthesis of a compensator of a given structure, an analysis of the complexity of the implementation of the processes of evaluation and compensation of dispersion distortions was performed. A structural diagram of the software implementation of a universal optical transponder, which can be implemented on a hardware platform, is presented.
