Industrial Automatic Control Systems and Controllers Annotation << Back A micro PC-based hybrid machine vision system Garke Yu.S., Zyubin V.E. The design of machine vision systems based on micro PC with x86 series processors, WinXPe OS, USB cameras, and IMAQ software from National Instruments is discussed. The requirements to machine vision systems are formulated, the choice of hard-/software platform is substantiated. The approach was exemplified in the measurement of the diameter of a silicon monocrystal grown by Chokhralsky technique.
