Methods and Means of Forming Elements of a Cognitive Model of a Person Observing 3D Models Synthesized by Simulators of an Aviation Simulator |

Previously, the analysis of computer graphics software and hardware systems was reduced to the study of their individual nodes in order to determine the direction for improving the quality of synthesized 3D models. The most advanced system for synthesizing 3D models is the simulator of the visual environment of an aviation simulator. Its purpose is to synthesize in real time for the pilot three-dimensional images of a 3D model of the external 3D environment, visible through the cockpit glazing. Studies have shown that the visual environment simulator is an ergatic optical-software-technical system, and in order to assess the quality of its functioning, it is necessary to take into account the methods and means of forming elements of a cognitive model of a person who observes three-dimensional images of 3D models and allows the pilot to acquire professional piloting skills when flying on an aviation simulator and piloting. The article summarizes the results of studies of systems for the synthesis of visually observed 3D models and provides an analysis of "non-planar" images of 3D models and their difference from three-dimensional images of 3D models.
