Analysis of the Harmonic Composition of the Output Voltage and Evaluation of the Energy Indicators of the Starter for Asynchronous Electric Drive |

The article discusses the design and principle of operation of a ballast that competes with analogues and minimizes the negative qualities of existing alternative technical solutions in terms of energy saving and maintaining the quality of consumed electricity. This device is applicable for building control systems for energy-saving asynchronous electric drives of medium power. An analysis of the harmonic composition of the output voltage and an assessment of the energy performance of the ballast under consideration based on the results of computer simulation are given. The proposed ballast relates to converter technology, which is used in control systems of adjustable AC electric drives to implement the soft start mode. The construction of a control system for an asynchronous electric drive based on the device considered in this article makes it possible to meet the requirements of energy saving and electromagnetic compatibility imposed on asynchronous electric drives during their operation.
