The architecture of mathematical support for the representation of heterogeneous knowledge of the decision support subsystem of the problem-oriented aviation information management system and the structural representation of the system, which takes into account the peculiarities of the decision–making process and refl ects the basic concepts of building intelligent expert systems - the use of frame models to describe the concepts of the subject area, is proposed. The use of a knowledge model based on frames and frame networks in the implementation of tools makes it possible to describe a fairly wide class of information objects.
