Method of Verifying the Results of Numerical
Simulation of Building Structures |

Comparison of the results of SCAD calculations for uniform loading at free supporting along the perimeter with experimental results
obtained by using fi ber-optic sensors based on fi ber Bragg grating (FBG) is performed in this article to verify the calculations of reinforced concrete slabs. The model made of organic glass with isotropic elastic characteristics is considered as the sample under study. The
experimental unit is shown herein, and the results of interrogation of sixteen FOS installed on the inner and outer surfaces of the studied
specimen are presented.
