The parameters of fluid metal (temperature and chemical composition) which are paramount for the melt are adduced. A sampling technique for these parameters is considered and a data transmission method enabling the application of the special blocks of Multi Lab III TOC instrument for combined liquidus temperature measurement is proposed.
