Industrial Automatic Control Systems and Controllers Annotation << Back Using Programmable Logic Controllers for Fiber Optic Sensors in Modern Industrial Systems Bazhenov R.I., Sedova N.A., Sedov V.A. The article discusses the possibility of using programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to work with fi ber-optic sensors in order to improve the effi ciency, reliability and accuracy of industrial systems. The advantages of integrating these technologies are analyzed, including immunity to electromagnetic interference, high data transfer rates and programming fl exibility. Examples of successful implementation in automated production lines, energy and oil and gas industries are given.
