Industrial Automatic Control Systems and Controllers Annotation << Back Automation of the Process of Normalizing Pipes in the Furnace Bulatova V.E., Medvedeva L.I. The article discusses the current aspects of automating the process of pipe normalization in heating furnaces. The main stages of the normalization process are described, and the existing methods of monitoring technological parameters are analyzed and their shortcomings are identified. A structure of an automated control system is proposed, which includes sensors, controllers, actuators, and software. Examples of successful automation implementation at Russian enterprises are provided, demonstrating improved product quality and reduced energy consumption. Promising areas of development, such as the use of artificial intelligence, digital twins, and predictive maintenance of equipment, are highlighted.
