This article presents an overview of modern decentralized automated systems for mechanical parameter monitoring and vibration diagnostics developed and manufactured domestically. The possibilities of applying these systems as monitoring and protection tools for rotating crushing and coal grinding machines are considered, with a comparative analysis of each automated control system reviewed in the article, including their technical and metrological characteristics. The article provides a brief overview and assessment of regulatory, technical, and design documentation, focusing on the applicability of the discussed automated systems for crushing and coal grinding machines in thermal power plants, specifically for boiler unit and coal supply equipment of medium-capacity coal-fired thermal power stations.
