Assessing the Probability of Ensuring the Consistency
of Normal Functioning Processes of a Cloud Information
System Under Cyber-Attacks |

This article examines an approach to modeling and assessing the probability of maintaining the normal functioning of
cloud information systems when exposed to potential cyberattacks. The mathematical modeling is based on the concept of
hybrid automata. Analytical relationships are introduced that allow us to determine the minimum probability of maintaining
the normal functioning of a cloud information system, eliminating the need to consider the specifi c distributions of the time
spent in various model states. The proposed approaches to modeling and assessing the probability of maintaining the normal
functioning of a cloud service by a potential attacker are relevant for solving a wide range of problems. They can serve as a
basis for developing more complex models necessary for analyzing real-world situations in which the distribution laws for the
state time of a cloud information system and a potential attacker are unknown.
