Nonlinear Sliding Mode Control Under Unmodeled Dynamics for an Asynchronous Motor |

The paper describes a nonlinear control system over manifolds in a sliding mode for a multivariable plant like an asynchronous motor with an nonmeasurable coordinate observer based on aggregated controller design techniques. The behavior of the design control system is examined under unmodeled dynamics conditions. Numerical investigation of the nonlinear control system under an uncertainty in the control plant description (additive noise in coordinate measuring channel) is undertaken. The paper shows that continuous control demonstrates stability and robustness features with higher reliability as against the discrete one. It describes an algorithm generalizing the well-known approach to solving the observer for an unmeasured control plant’s coordinate. Basic electric drive’s operation modes are illustrated under the described nonlinear control with a state observer, transient graphs are included.
