Improving Drone Reliability with a Robotic Operating System |
Htet Soe Paing, Han Myo Htun
The article presents a platform that guarantees the drone maintenance system the reliability of mission execution and application updates during flight using a robotic operating system (ROS), which is a flexible software structure. This set of tools, libraries, and conventions are designed to make it easy to create complex and robust robot behavior on a wide variety of robotic platforms. The proposed platform uses ROS and includes a version control system (VCS), a ROS developer, a device manager, and an application programming interface (API) system. In order to ensure the reliable state of the drone’s system status and control the development of ROS through the device manager, a graphical user interface has been developed.
