The paper offers an automatically tuned PID controller for various industries. The controller’s algorithms identify process model parameters both in open and in closed loop and recalculate them to controller settings optimal w.r.t. the degree of stability. In case of an open-loop system, the model parameters identification is performed with the help of a purposeful step signal less than 5% of its linearity interval, while, in the closed loop, in impulse impact is applied added either with SP or with OP signal. The optimal controller settings are calculated subject to maximum degree of stability criterion that ensures the combination of control robustness and high performance. The controller efficiency is demonstrated by its operation comparison with automatically tuned OVEN’s controller under various control plant’s parameters. E-mail: shub@ipu.rssi.ru |
