The article discusses the problem of standardization and metrological quality control of bamboo imported into the Russian Federation. Particular attention is paid to humidity as a critical parameter that determines the performance characteristics of the material. The features of moisture transfer in bamboo are described, confirming the complexity of humidity control. The article also provides a comparative analysis of the method of measuring humidity. The regulatory framework is considered, recommendations for the selection of measuring instruments are given. Practical recommendations for moisture control at all stages of working with raw materials are presented.
