Automated Control System for Continuous Milk
Pasteurization With Predictive Diagnostics |

The article discusses the features of automated control of the technological process of continuous pasteurization of milk. The relevance
of the topic is determined by the need to ensure the sanitary and microbiological safety of dairy products, the stability of the temperature
and time regime, reduce the risk of releasing an under-pasteurized product and increase the traceability of technological parameters. The
object of consideration is a pasteurization plant based on a plate heat exchanger with a holding device, a product return system, heating
and cooling circuits. The structure of the technological process, the composition of the controlled parameters, the functions of the fi eld
level, PLC, HMI, SCADA and IIoT components are considered. Special attention is paid to archiving parameters, registering events, monitoring the state of actuators, and predictive diagnostic capabilities. It is shown that the use of industrial Internet of Things and analytical
data processing tools expands the functionality of the traditional PLC-SCADA architecture and improves the operational reliability of the
pasteurization line.
